EU Organic Day is coming up – Get ready to be visible on/around 23 September 2024

On 23 September 2024 Europe will celebrate its 4th EU Organic Day! We call on the European organic movement to get visible, celebrate this day and raise awareness of organic and its many benefits to people, planet & economy.

Every year, many of our members celebrate organic – in person, online and according to their own flavours. So, we want to ask: what are your plans for this year’s 23 September?

We invite you to share your initiatives via this online form so we can give them visibility. Please note that we will prioritise our members’ event due to the many submissions.

Need some inspiration? Curious to see what kind of initiatives took place last year? Visit the EU organic day page on our website for inspiration!

Of course, EU Organic Day also marks the awards ceremony of the European Organic Awards 2024 at the European Commission in Brussels, during which the winners of this year’s edition will be announced! If you’re interested to watch it, follow us on social media, as we will post the live-streaming link on the day itself.

What do we offer our members?

We will do the work for you! Ahead of the EU Organic Day we will provide our members with customisable messages and visuals a social media campaign. We will also share their initiatives in the interactive map on our website and on our social media platforms.

For more information on the EU Organic Day, please visit our website. Our members will find all materials on our member extranet > hot topics > EU Organic Day (available by the end of August). For questions, please contact [email protected]. Do note that we prioritise our members’ requests.

Does this sound interesting to you but you aren’t an IFOAM Organics Europe member? Contact [email protected]. They are available for your membership-related questions and extranet access rights (issues).

About EU Organic Day

Officially launched in 2021 by the European Parliament, the Commission, and the Council of the European Union, this day represents the occasion to, among others, assess trends in consumer demands, continue raising awareness of organic in the supply chain and finally, define new targets for the future of organic in Europe.
